WW2 Type 35 RAF Radio Loudspeaker IOU/204 Operating at 15 Or 600 Ohms

A nice example of a WW2 Type 35 RAF Radio Loudspeaker IOU/204 Operating at 15 Or 600 Ohms.

Made For The Air Ministry, with a brass plate on the front of the speaker case, it hasn't been tested.

Approximate Size (WHD):  11 x 11  x 6 inches

The wood cased loudspeaker is in fairly good condition with a RAF grey/blue paint finish. It has paint loss, surface scuffs and blemishes commensurate with age and use. The speaker cone is intact, with two bakelite wire connectors at the rear, and a slight fabric tear at the front.  A brass switch on the front toggles between 15 or 600 Ohms.

It was made as a free standing unit with four rubber feet, and would have been used as a part of the airfield's public address system.

It would make a fantastic addition to a !
